Gold Medal at Concours Mondial de Bruxelles

Our Marsala Oro Riserva 10 years was awarded a Gold Medal at Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2016, held in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, from April 29th to May the 1st.

For us, this has been the very first participation at the Concours, that in May 2014 celebrated its 20th anniversary.

The international competition, arrived at its 23rd edition, this year had a special focus on the most famous Italian PDO fortified wine with tastings, seminars and an in-depth analysis destined to journalists and trade. Marsala wine earned in total 7 Gold Medals and 8 Silver Medals, a very good result for Marsala wine that, in Bulgaria, brings on its relaunch through a better communication and awareness for international stakeholders and, at the same time, contrasts the idea of “cooking wine” with which this historical wine has often to coexist.
