Passitaly

From August 31st up to September 4th, the very first edition of Passitaly will take place in Pantelleria, an event entirely dedicated to passito wines where you will be able to taste and discover the most prestigious examples of this peculiar wine of the Mediterranean area.
Also, you will discover the island through the “Pantelleria experience”, 3 different itineraries representing the 3 main souls of this territory: food & wine, nature and history and culture. Walking through dry walls and terraced slopes, you will discover the nature and gastronomic trails of an island that boasts an extraordinary landscape patrimony and thousand-year-old historical and culture traditions.
Every day, from 6 to 8 pm, in the great courtyard of Castello Barbacane, you will have the chance to taste the wines of the Italian and foreign wineries participating to the event. During the closing Thursday night, on September 3rd, starting at 10 pm the whole island will be involved in a special night where, everybody, inhabitants and tourist, are invited to join dressed in white.
